The barking mad Kia Tracks'ter
The Kia Trackster Concept has been revealed as a three-door, 250bhp, 4WD track version of the Soul. The Kia Soul may not be thye first car you’d think of turning in to a hot hatch, but that hasn’t stopped the Kia Track’ster arriving as a concept at the Chicago Motor Show today. Based on the Soul, the Tracks’ter (those Kia apostrophes again) gets 4WD, loses its back seats to what Kia call an “Integrated Equipment Tray” instead, gets a 2.0 litre turbo with 250bhp mated to a six-speed ‘box and a set of 19″ alloys.
Renault has revealed details of the Frendzy concept ahead of its anticipated debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. Fully electric, and with an asymmetrical design, the compact vehicle is the fourth 'life-cycle' concept to be unveiled since Laurens van den Acker took over from Patrick leQuement. Designed by Deyan Denkov (exterior) and RCA graduate Ana Zadnik (interior), the Frendzy's design blends the utility of a commercial business vehicle and the comfort of a family car.
MORE DRIVERS in the UK say they would want Spiderman to save them in the event of a breakdown than any other superhero. The web-shooting superhero was chosen by 24% of drivers as they reckon he’d be more able to fix their car or get them to safety.
